Who Says? October 6, 2007

When I read blogs about raising and preserving food, grinding grain, making clothes, etc, I feel my lack of domesticity. But, from time to time I actually do things on my own. This realization struck me today as I mixed up my own container full of cinnamon-sugar.

like mine only not made with love

Now, understand, no one taught me how to do this, and I do not even have a recipe. It just comes natural.  :)  I thought about doing a tutorial but decided it was probably not worth the digital film.

When I googled for the cinnamon sugar picture, I looked for a “do-it-yourself” one, too ~ hoping for something like a badge to award myself for brilliance. But google had something even better. Doing-things-yourself can be taken to an extreme. Who would really want a home laser eye surgery kit? Especially when the scalpel is cutesily renamed the scal-pal. Ack. I know my limitations. I am a blinker.

4 easy steps, yeah, right

I’ll just stick with mixing cinnamon-sugar, OK?

Would using such a procedure fall under the category of being “Blind in one eye and can’t see out the other?” Or perhaps - “Here’s lookin’ at you kid” | “Quick look the other way!” I just loved the instruction - “Don’t blink.” See ya later …

Oh, my…Getting the right sugar to cinnamon ratio is VERY important. Not every one can do it - that’s why companies have just started making it. You definitely deserve a reward. *LOL*

I was laughing so hard at: “When I read blogs about raising and preserving food, grinding grain, making clothes, etc, I feel my lack of domesticity.” I’m so with you on that one. *LOL* However, I’m not going to try self=surgery on my eyes. *LOL* I’m klutz enough without trying that.

What a hoot.
