Posted by carpebanana in : Bananalets , add a commentBoys are actually a whole new species. This newsflash smacks me over the head several times a day. Yesterday I was struck twice in about 10 minutes.
First, Mr Music summoned me into the bathroom while he was showering to have me notice that as a result of the amazing tackle he made today at flag football which involved him diving full force, belly first, across the turf like it was a swimming pool, not only was his stomach hurting, but also he had actually got grass stains on his skivvies. He was very proud of this fact.
Then, once he was dressed, he came down to the kitchen with a roll of Necco wafers, took one out, and said, “Watch how great I am at catching food in my mouth,” flipped it into the air, sure enough swallowed it (I can only assume whole) and took a theatrical bow.
