Miss Dance has this whole alternate society (called the “Human Society System”) which does not come up much, but used to. This is a copy of a small booklet she wrote some years back about Egications.

Egications is a very nice place. It is an island. Here are some of its words. O - I, OLa - Love, Suger - Sugar, Double H-ing - Ornge Juice, NaNaNaNaNaNaNa - honey (that you eat), NaNaNaNaNaNaNa - Honey, Cowipapapapapapa - Cowip (that was Cool Whip), Nilk - Milk, Dalinder - Water. If you want to visit Egications well then, you’ll have to come to [actual address]. It’s the house with the green mailbox. And when you step inside there before your eyes is Egications  you can come whenever you like.

There are more various and sundry notes about the land of Egications but they are not in my possession. Miss Language believes she has a map and some other vocabulary. I guess you can imagine that for a few years, if Miss Dance was in charge of pouring drinks a at lunch time, you had to order in Egications. Double H-ing is fun to say. :)

Miss Dance used to walk around the house saying, “O Ola Suger” (I believe we’ve mentioned before that she has a deep and abiding affection for sugar.)  She now walks around saying, in a rather JarJar kind of voice, “Meesa Seesa Bug” everytime she gets the chance. But I do not think that is Egications, just Dance-ese.
