I went to check his assignment in Singapore math, and at first was irritated to see he had written in the textbook, as he is only supposed to write in the workbook. But then I saw what he had written. He had changed the problem to keep it consistent with how we honor Sundays by not conducting business, like this (his improvements in red):
429 concert tickets were sold on Sunday. <–Friday
64 more concert tickets were sold on Sunday <–Friday than on Saturday.
How many tickets were sold on Saturday?
Way to go, and, he even got the right answer!
