How Lame is This? August 20, 2007

We’re supposed to have a big picnic tonight. And the weather says high of 68 and 100% chance of heavy rain. In August? What kind of high temp is that?
So, anyhow, what am I doing? Checking around on different weather forecasts…. NOAA, nope, that’s where I started the search and it is ugly; let’s try weather.com, no, that’s even worse, high of 63(!) and heavy thunderstorms; how about wunderground, best yet at high of 67 but it only says 100% chance of rain, rather than heavy rain, or thunderstorms. At that point I realize WHAT DO I THINK I’M DOING??? Ack. Comparison weather shopping. Maybe I will call customer service and see if I can arrange for some individualized service. I’ll let you know if it works for me.
