Posted by carpebanana in : Bananalets , add a commentMiss Language and I have a returning difference of opinion. I contend that she mumbles. She feels that I am either losing my hearing or my mind. If she’s right, I hope it’s just my mind. Somehow my hearing seems more important most days. Anyhow.
A typical discussion: a couple days ago I asked her to do something as she was fixing her braid, she held up a finger in the “just a minute” sign, and said, “I have to finish this or people will think I’m a sundried wombat.”
Of course I asked what on earth that means, and she maintained that she had really said people would think she was “a sun goddess gone bad.” But I know what I heard. Miss Language has gone wombat. Cute little bugger, isn’t she?
